Reddit ps1 hidden gems3/31/2024 I'd love to preserve the co-op to very similar style of game. I feel like LIADS is a good co-op game but it really suffers as a single player game, wich may be why reviewers struggled with it when it first came out years ago. Cowboy bebop has definitely rejuvenated my love for that 90s style of scifi like Total Recall, Akira or Alien. So I'd definitely spin the mood in that direction. Inappropriate for me in the 90s as a kid but it feels like it's grown up with me, and I love that. I love how gritty and grungey they've taken the pixel art style. I'm a big fan of the game company Devolver and games like Katana Zero and Hotline Miami. Since the switch is the king of couch co-op and we've played this game many times with two joycon controllers split into fours, I think it's the ideal platform for a game like this. Similar to how Harvest Moon inspired Stardew Valley, I feel tempted to make something similar. The worst part about the game is how short it is. Adding a layer of exploration, and a couch co-op that's easy for new gamers to understand and have fun with. As a fan of games like Space Invaders and Galaga this game scratched an itch I didn't even know I had. I love the art style, but a less cutesy art style change might be nice too. I've looked for similar games, but it's kind of in it's own league. Easily my favorite co-op game on the switch, I'd love a sequel.
